Walk-In Center Hours: October - May (Monday - Friday) 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. June - Sept. (Monday - Thursday) 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
F.I.S.H. is an acronym for "Friends in Service Here." We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization of "neighbors helping neighbors" on Sanibel and Captiva islands in Southwest Florida. We rely on our volunteers to share their time, resources, and talents with residents and visitors who need a helping hand, a caring friendship and needed services. F.I.S.H. has been operating on the islands since December, 1981.
WHO DO WE HELP? We help people of all ages, from all walks of life; people who live and work on Sanibel and Captiva, as well as visitors to our islands.
MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of F.I.S.H. is to lend a helping hand to those in need who live, work or visit Sanibel and Captiva by providing free services such as transportation, food pantry, meal delivery, health equipment, and emergency financial assistance through a group of volunteers who care about prolonging the quality of life for all those who request help.

F.I.S.H. always welcomes charitable donations to help keep our Food Pantry stocked and to assist island families who are experiencing a job loss or difficulty paying for basic needs, such as food, rent, utilities, medical bills, etc. Any contribution is very much appreciated and is deductible in accordance with I.R.S. regulations.
